What will I receive under the Extended Warranty Plan?

As a Warranty Bazaar Extended Warranty customer, you will receive a welcome email at your registered email id. The welcome email will contain details about all aspects of your plan, including terms & conditions.

What if I don’t receive the Welcome email?

In case you don’t receive the welcome email, you can contact WARRANTY BAZAAR’s helpline number 1800 103 1893 (Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 6.30pm) and place a request for regeneration of the welcome email.

The appliance details mentioned in my welcome email are incorrect. What should I do?

In case there is any error in the details mentioned in your welcome email, simply call WARRANTY BAZAAR’s helpline number 1800 103 1893 (Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 6.30pm) and place a request. You may be required to submit documents to effect the change in your plan details.

For what duration can I purchase the Extended Warranty membership?

You can purchase the Extended Warranty membership for a term of 1/2/3 years.

I bought the Extended Warranty plan, is that enough?

You must activate your Extended Warranty plan within 7 days of its purchase of the plan to avail the benefits of the plan. You’ll be sent instructions on your registered email address. The activation process is very simple and takes less than 5 minutes. If you require any assistance, please call us on 1800 103 1893 (Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 6.30pm) and we will be happy to assist you. We offer you a convenient option to upload your scanned receipt for safe keeping in the event you need to file a claim.

I got an email to activate my Extended Warranty plan, what does it mean?

You have bought the Extended Warranty plan but haven’t activated it. Activation within 7 days of plan purchase is mandatory to avail plan benefits. We will not be able to accept any service requests unless the plan has been activated with correct details.

How do I activate my Extended Warranty plan?

  Please browse to https://www.warrantybazaar.in. Enter the login ID and Password received over Email.
  Go to my orders and click on the activate tab against the plan purchased.
  Fill in all necessary details and press submit button to activate the membership

  Kindly upload your invoice copy at the time of activation in order to avail a hassle free service.

What would I need to activate my plan to avail service?

You will need the original purchase invoice, Make, Model & Serial number of the product handy while activation. We strongly recommend that you to upload a picture of the original invoice of the product for a smooth service experience.

Where would I get the model number and serial number of the product?

Model and serial numbers are located on the product label or on the purchase invoice. To ensure that you are giving correct serial number please make sure to use the serial number mentioned on the product. Use the product Owner’s Manual to identify the location of the model number label on your product. Most product identification numbers include a combination of letters and numbers.
In most appliances it is mentioned on the back or side of the appliance (e.g. usually on the back of TV and refrigerators, on the back or side of washing machine, bottom or side of the AC indoor unit etc.). In some appliances like kitchen appliances, it may be at the bottom of the device.
It can also be located on the product packaging box, warranty card or the tax invoice/challan at the time of appliance delivery.
If you are unable to locate your serial number or model number, please reach out to the manufacturer of your product, they should be able to guide you on how to locate it.

When can I buy Extended Warranty?

You can buy WARRANTY BAZAAR Extended Warranty within 180 days from the date of purchase of your appliance.

For what Products can I buy Extended Warranty?

Only if the product is manufactured in India or is legally imported in India & sold through Official Channels supported by an invoice & Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee. Product should have minimum of one year manufacturer’s warranty.
It should not be more than 180 days of its purchase date during the time of activating Extended Warranty Plan.

What is Manufacturer’s Warranty period?

Manufacturer’s warranty is usually offered for a period of 6 to 12 months from the date of purchase. However, some parts of the appliance may carry Manufacturer’s Warranty of greater than 1 year. The Manufacturer’s Warranty term is mentioned on the warranty card provided with the product.

When can I avail the benefits under the Extended Warranty plan?

You can avail the features of the extended warranty services once the term of the manufacturer’s warranty has expired.

What should be the invoice value of the product I purchased for which I want to buy the Extended Warranty Plan?

The invoice value of your product should be the price of product before any applicable discount or offers (like exchange offers etc.). You should buy an Extended Warranty plan corresponding to this value. e.g. If you paid Rs. 25,000 for a Television that costs Rs. 22,000 after a discount of Rs. 3000. You should buy the Extended Warranty plan for Television costing Rs. 25,000 and not Rs. 22,000.

Does Extended Warranty Plan covers Accidental Damage?

Accidental and Liquid damage are not covered as per the terms of Extended Warranty plan.

I am facing problems with my appliance. What should I do?

If the manufacturer’s warranty has expired, you can call Warranty Bazaar toll-free helpline number 1800 103 8393 (Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 6.30pm) and register your service request.

What documents need to be submitted for making a service request?

At the time of making a service related to the extended warranty plan, the following documents are required:
  • Identity Proof
  • Duly filled Form
  • Purchase invoice
You may be asked to submit any further documents as required by our service team.
The eventual admission or denial of the service under Extended Warranty would be at the discretion of our service team as per the terms and conditions of Extended Warranty Service Plan.

Is my WARRANTY BAZAAR Extended Warranty Plan transferable?

Your WARRANTY BAZAAR Extended Warranty Plan cannot be transferred.

What is the Group Personal Accident cover I get with this membership?

You are covered under a Group Personal Accident Death Only policy of National Insurance taken by Warranty Bazaar. You are covered for a Sum Insured of Rupees 1 lac for period of 1 year starting from the date of purchase of Extended Warranty membership.
